Babich 2007 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
This SB from Babich shows fresh and zesty grapefruit and lime, with just a hint of fresh herbs. A great sipper as well as a dinner wine to go with fresh fish.

Commanderie de Peyrassol 2007 Cotes de Provence Rose
Last summer, this producer of rose was our best seller. Peyrassol is fresh and lively on the palate, nicely dry with a mineral finish. A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, and Syrah, the wine should be married to the finest catches of the sea, but I also think it would be lovely with grilled vegetables.

Dr. Loosen 2006 Dr. L Riesling
This entry-level Loosen Riesling made from non-estate fruit, but nonetheless from top Mosel vineyard sites, embodies all of the elegant and racy characteristics of the steep, slate-soil Mosel vineyards. The wine is incredibly weighty and delicious for a Qualitatswein, owing to the fact that it is technically a Spatlese!

Angove's 2005 McLaren Vale Select Shiraz
This is one of the finer, more balanced Shiraz I have tasted. An elegant wine worthy of any table. :) :)

Goisot 2005 Irancy Les Mazelots
As reviewed in the recent Wall Street Journal, this red Burgundy made from 100% Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard of old vines over 97 years old in an obscure appellation called Irancy. Goisot only makes 200 cases of this wine and exports a miniscule number to the U.S. Enjoy this one while it lasts on our shelves!

Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet 2005 Monthelie Rouge
This is what we like to call a "stupid value" here at The Wine Country, which means that when we tasted it we thought it would be stupid not to buy it! Such pretty juicy fruit with a sexy meaty quality all with a supple mouth feel and a long finish. Wickedly good wine for the price.
